Julia Melkers is leading the evaluation of the NSF-funded Colorado School of Mines Revolutionizing Engineering Department’s project NSF RED: SP3 Materials Education. The goal of the four year project is to revolutionize the way that materials engineers are educated, and foster related organizational, structural, and cultural departmental changes.
