Lili Wang is Assistant Professor of Nonprofit Studies in the School of Community Resources and Development. Her research focuses on individual philanthropy, nonprofit institutions, collaborative governance, and building a healthy community.
Professor Wang has been awarded the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA)’s Emerging Scholar Award for research excellence. Her research has received support from the Social Science Research Council, the Bureau of Land Management, and the St. Luke’s Health Initiatives. She has published numerous articles in Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, Nonprofit Management & Leadership, Voluntas: International Journal of Voluntary and Nonprofit Organizations, and Public Management Review.
Before joining ASU, Professor Wang was Postdoctoral Research Associate and Visiting Professor at the Taubman Center for Public Policy of Brown University.
