Stephanie Moulton

Stephanie Moulton is Associate Professor at the John Glenn School of Public Affairs, The Ohio State University, and a Research Affiliate with the Center for Financial Security at the University of Wisconsin. Moulton’s research focuses on cross-sector policy and program implementation, public management, consumer financial policy and mortgage decisions for vulnerable populations. Moulton works closely with government, private sector and nonprofit organizations in the design and analysis of her research. She serves as the principal investigator a randomized evaluation financial education for low income homebuyers, and as principal investigator on a multi-phase evaluation of reverse mortgage program participants. Her research has been funded by public and private entities including the MacArthur Foundation, The U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development and The Social Security Administration. Moulton’s research has been published in top journals, including the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Public Administration Review, Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly,American Journal of Evaluation, Journal of Consumer Affairs, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking and Housing Policy Debate. Professor Moulton received her Ph.D. in Public Affairs from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University.
