Rick Morse

Rick Morse joined the School of Government in 2006. His research, teaching, and consulting focuses on collaborative governance, civic engagement, and public leadership. He has published more than two dozen articles and book chapters and is lead editor of two books published by M.E. Sharpe, Transforming Public Leadership for the 21st Century (2007), and Innovations in Public Leadership Development (2008). His most recent projects include studies of interlocal service sharing arrangements and community food councils. He is also a regular contributor to the School’s Community and Economic Development blog (see ced.sog.unc.edu/?author=9). Rick holds BA and MA degrees in public policy from Brigham Young University and a PhD in public administration/public affairs from Virginia Tech. Follow him on Twitter @MorseSOG.
