Public Values Consortium's 5th Biennial Workshop, January 2016

CORD hosted the Public Values Consortium's 5th Biennial Workshop in Phoenix, Arizona on  January 7 - 8. The Workshop sought to consolidate and expand existing knowledge of public values presented at the four previous Workshops. A featured panel included five participants who have either organized or hosted a previous Workshop or who have attended all or most. The questions for the panel: “What has been learned? What knowledge gaps remain?” In addition, a special panel honored Professor Torben Beck Jorgensen, an originator of the Public Values Workshop, and host of inaugural workshop in Copenhagen. The panel offered a retrospective of his contributions to public values research and theory, and reflected on Torben's life as a mentor and friend.
