Michael Ahn

Michael Ahn is an associate professor of public policy and public affairs at UMass Boston. His research interests include: Digital Government, technological innovations in government, public policy communication, and public affairs education. Michael’s current research interest include Civic Technology, Smart City, 311-type government call centers, legislative use of social media and the effectiveness of IT training in public administration programs. Ahn has served as the president of American Society for Public Administration-Massachusetts Chapter and the Northeast Conference on Public Administration (NECoPA) and currently serves as a District 1 Representative for ASPA’s national council representing NY, CT, and the New England states.
