Jiwon Jung

Jiwon Jung is an assistant professor of public management and policy analysis in the Graduate School of International Relations (GSIR) at the International University of Japan (IUJ). Dr. Jung received her PhD in Public Administration and Policy from Arizona State University in May 2020.  Her dissertation was entitled "Who’s Evaluating Whom? The Public Evaluation of Public and Private Leaders’ Unethical Behaviors," which examined the question of who sees whose corruption as to understand how public tolerance to unethical behaviors of public and private sector managers and politicians are shaped using a survey experiment. She is also interested in science and technology policy and higher education policy and has published work on the topic in Research Policy and Journal of Higher Education. She teaches courses in public leadership, human resource management, and non-profit organizations for the Master of Public Management program.
