Daniel Matisoff

Daniel Matisoff, Ph.D. is currently an associate professor in the School of Public Policy and fellow at the Brook Byers Institute at the Georgia Institute of Technology where he teaches and conducts research. His research focuses on the intersection of the public and private sectors in the areas of energy, technology, and the environment. In particular, he has interests in corporate sustainability, energy policy, environmental management, and public policy theory. He is also affiliated with the Strategic Energy Institute and the Center for Urban Innovation. His research, which has been sponsored by the National Science Foundation, the European Union Center for Excellence, the German Academic Exchange Service, the Georgia Department of Transportation, the Department of Energy, and Public Service Electric and Gas. Matisoff received his B.A. in economics and international relations from the University of Pennsylvania, and his Ph.D. in public policy from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
