Carla Bonina

Dr Carla Bonina is Lecturer (assistant professor) in entrepreneurship and innovation at Surrey Business School. Her research interests lie on the intersection of organization studies, technology innovation and policy. Her current research projects focus on thinking critically on the social impacts of information technology innovations, big and open data and value creation in the digital economy. She has worked extensively on e-government, open government and innovation policy projects, including consultancy roles for the government of Mexico and Kazakhstan, main telecom operators in Latin America, and international organizations such as the OECD, the IDRC, the World Bank and the ITU. Before joining Surrey, Carla worked as Research Fellow in Management at the London School of Economics (LSE). Carla holds a PhD in Management from the LSE, an MSc in Public Administration and Public Policy from CIDE in Mexico City, and a BA in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires. Google Scholar
