Lotte Bøgh Andersen

Lotte Bøgh Andersen is professor at the Department of Political Science at Aarhus University. Her research interests include leadership, motivation and behavior and performance of public employees, and she has also contributed to research concerning economic incentives, professionalism and motivation crowding theory. She has for example published several articles about the antecedents and effects of public service motivation. In an earlier project, she has also investigated gender effects on the behavior and performance of public employees. Her most recent grant from the Danish Independent Research Council focuses on leadership and performance. The LEAP project (www.leap-project.dk) is a field experiment with 500 public and private leaders and their 10,000 employees. The leaders were randomized into three treatment groups and a control group, and the leaders in the treatment groups received different types of leadership training, which affected their leadership strategies. Additional information and a CV are available at: http://pure.au.dk/portal/en/lotte@ps.au.dk
