Kandyce Fernanadez

Kandyce Fernandez joined the Department of Public Administration at The University of Texas at San Antonio in Fall 2014 and currently teaches classes on nonprofit organizations, program evaluation, and urban development.  She received her Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy from Arizona State University where she conducted her dissertation research on public-private partnerships between local education foundations and school districts.  While her broader research interests address emerging organizational structures and the interactions that take place between organizations attributed to different sectors, she has a particular interest in public education, philanthropy, urban development, and cross-sector interactions.
