Julie Langer

Julie Langer is a Distinguished Scholar Award Recipient and Doctoral Student in the Department of Public Administration at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her work focuses on exploring the equifinal trajectories of social value creation in public organizations through the lens of identity, identification and identity orientation. She also studies culture, collaboration, and conflict in public, nonprofit and hybrid organizational contexts. Her most recent work will be featured in the Academy of Management’s 2014 Best Paper Proceedings. In addition to her studies, Langer, a Doctoral Fellow, also manages collective impact initiatives for the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership, a quasi-governmental nonprofit. She expects to complete her doctoral program in May 2015. Her degree will be in Public Administration, with minors in both Public and Nonprofit Management.
